Accountabilities:

• Operate within the framework of enterprise architecture and technology standards.
& t3 x+ i; ` f3 J3 u! c• Work with project teams to build and install infrastructure/application servers.+ }, @4 i" x/ m( ^+ b' Y6 C
• Ensure systems are engineered to meet business service level expectations, as well as corporate I.S. standards
3 Y* K& x; h# Q+ O( L3 ]- F7 P• Installation of servers8 c; c- A( ^0 G3 u
• Day to day server administration, operation and maintenance (direction provided by Team Lead, Server Support)
# I/ F1 M6 A% B( [# F6 ?- l7 P& G• Provide ‘level 2’ service desk support for the server environment including evening and weekend pager support on a rotational basis.
8 Z$ b) J5 n, ?1 @: O) b( K• Provide input and act as a resource for related technical infrastructure projects
" R, [# |) I1 y( U& z+ Q$ Q• Conduct problem management for technical problems and issues

Qualifications and Competencies:

7 I( D1 l6 }1 D- G' i1 ^• Minimum 5 years experience within IT environment$ e0 l0 A. i2 e8 L1 A% Y" T7 M' b
• Broad familiarity of Unix, Windows based server operating systems, Active Directory, networking, database, system management, etc.; f5 I; c. F8 B) w" ]6 D
• Experience with enterprise backup and recovery products
6 @9 \& c+ i, R. o' |3 ~• Experience with desktop environments / Q. F8 i3 g$ [) }1 h' O
• Familiarity with system management tools( H9 t7 |" ~9 Y. e6 \
• Familiarity of security management principles

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills( s9 t# {7 b( y7 Z1 p! M
