/ n9 p. z" H' i# eIn preparation for Citizenship and Immigration Canadas new Off-Campus Work Permit Program (OCWP), SDCs International Student Services will be presenting OCWP Information Sessions for Westerns international students and interested members of the Western community. (NOTE: As of June 1, 2006, international students at Western will be able to request Verification Forms - details will be released very soon).

The OCWP Information Session will:
! Y+ ] n% C9 g' U; Q0 x' S5 _· Provide details on the OCWP Program
5 @6 V- L; D. Q3 @0 B5 `1 A/ k1 T· Explain the application process (including obtaining Verification Forms) , F/ H9 b7 W7 N j+ ~% u
· Assist students with questions they may have about the OCWP Program
( ~5 |. Y" [2 {3 r9 Q8 uIt is strongly recommended that international students interested in applying for an Off-Campus Work Permit attend one of these information sessions.4 E3 N: G/ V. A1 R& [6 R

The Off-Campus Work Permit Program information sessions will be held on:

· Wednesday, May 31 from10:00 to 11:00 a.m. 4 X# [: j9 t( W; [% L
· Thursday, June 1 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. * j9 Y- }- r$ q) E: R3 Q2 O5 |
· Friday, June 2 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. ) A ?) i: C# a' D: m
All sessions will be held on the 3rd floor in the University Community Centre in the USC Council Chambers (Room 315). $ ^1 A/ X; O8 h9 z
- T1 |- R# c9 l/ Q/ _' |% `Additionally, SDCs International Student Services will be providing guidance and advice on the completion of the Off-Campus Work Permit application form, or regarding the Off-Campus Work Permit (OCWP) program, during OCWP Drop-in Hours (no appointment needed).
